The Board of Education of Harford County approved the 2026-2027 school year calendar at the January 12, 2026, Board Business Meeting. The calendar includes several important dates for families to note as they plan for the upcoming school year:
December 23, 2026, will be an early dismissal day for staff
The last day of school for students will be an early dismissal day
New this year: Kindergarten will have a different first day of school than PreK and grades 1-12
