Good Morning Classes of 2028 and 2029,

The 4th Annual Battle of the Grades basketball will be re-scheduled for next Saturday, January 31st from 7-9 p.m.

In the interest of trying to keep our community safe and anticipating that weekend activities in HCPS may be canceled with the impending storm, we want to see you back here next Saturday without those looming road threats.

This means ticket purchases are extended through next week in School Cash Online!!!

If you are a player or coach - please let myself or Mrs. Larson know ASAP if you are unable to attend and play/coach next weekend.

Have a great weekend and be safe!!

Good afternoon, Mustang Families,

Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is off to a slow start, and we need your help to make a difference for families in need this holiday season. Each homeroom has been assigned a specific non-perishable food item to collect. Ask your student what item they were assigned, but we will take all donations.

Please consider sending in your student’s assigned item this week. If every student donates just one item, we could collect over 1,300 food items to support our community!

The last day to donate is November 21st.

Thank you for your generosity and support as we work together to make this year’s food drive a success.

C. Milton Wright High School recently welcomed Maryland State Senator Cory McCray for an engaging conversation with students about the value of apprenticeships and how hands-on learning can lead to lifelong success.

Senator McCray shared his personal journey as an apprentice with IBEW Local 24, explaining how the experience helped him build a career, support his family, and ultimately discover his passion for leadership and public service.

Students and staff, including Superintendent Dr. Sean Bulson, participated in the discussion while enjoying refreshments from Newberry Café. Each guest received a copy of Senator McCray’s book as a reminder of his message about the importance of hard work, mentorship, and opportunity.
