HCPS News Graphic

Applications are open until Friday September 26, 2025, for the 2026 Maryland General Assembly Student Page Program. This unique opportunity allows high school seniors to spend two nonconsecutive weeks during the 2026 legislative session working in Annapolis alongside Maryland lawmakers.

Since 1970, the Page Program has offered students a front-row seat to the legislative process. Pages assist members of the General Assembly, observe daily proceedings, and gain firsthand experience in state government. In addition to developing leadership and civic understanding, Pages receive a stipend of $55 per day worked. Housing is available for those living outside Anne Arundel County.

Application Information:

  • Who Can Apply: Current HCPS seniors.

  • Application Deadline: Friday, September 26, 2025.

  • Next Steps: Selected applicants will be invited to in-person interviews on Monday, October 13, 2025, at C. Milton Wright High School. Only students available that day will be considered.

Final selections will be announced in late November, followed by a celebratory HCPS Student Page Breakfast in early December to honor the students chosen to represent Harford County.

HCPS encourages interested seniors to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn about state government and represent their schools and community in Annapolis.
