Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) is once again offering free meals to children 18 and under this summer through the SUN Meals program, part of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. HCPS has participated in this program for more than 30 consecutive years.
SUN Meals (On-Site)
Free breakfast and lunch are available at six community locations across Harford County beginning June 22. No registration, no ID, and no income verification is required. Meals must be eaten on-site. Most sites are closed on Fridays, and all sites will be closed on Thursday, July 3.
Participating locations include libraries in Aberdeen, Edgewood, Havre de Grace, and Joppa, as well as George D. Lisby Elementary School at Hillsdale and Hall's Cross Roads Elementary School. Hours and specific dates vary by location.

SUN Meals To-Go (Weekly Meal Kits)
Families in more rural areas of the county can take advantage of SUN Meals To-Go, a weekly meal kit program available at Dublin Elementary School (1527 Whiteford Road, Street, MD). Each kit includes one week of breakfast and lunch items per child, including milk, cereal, juice, fruits and vegetables, and other healthy options.
Pickups are held every Wednesday from July 1 through August 19, between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required, and only a parent or legal guardian may pick up kits. Children do not need to be present.
