On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Harford County Public Schools officially welcomed students back today for the first day of the 2025–2026 school year!
Across the county, staff and families came together with excitement and energy as more than 38,000 students returned to classrooms. From kindergarteners experiencing their very first day of school to seniors kicking off their final year, today set the tone for a year of growth, learning, and achievement.
Superintendent Dr. Sean Bulson, members of his Executive Council, County Executive Bob Cassilly, County Council President Patrick Vincent, Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gaher, deputies, and staff were all on hand at North Harford Middle School welcoming students back. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the building!
HCPS looks forward to partnering with families and the community to make 2025–2026 a year to remember. Welcome back, HCPS!
