Harford County Education Foundation invites community members, local leaders, and educators to the Excellence in Education Showcase and Awards Breakfast on Friday, October 17 at Havre de Grace High School - a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the transformative power of hands-on learning in Harford County Public Schools. Kristy Breslin, WMAR, is the event emcee. Doors open at 8:00 am.
More than a breakfast, this event showcases student ingenuity across disciplines, from engineering and robotics to business concepts and the arts. Attendees will experience real-world solutions and imaginative designs developed in classrooms, highlighting how experiential learning prepares students for future success.
The event also features the Excellence in Education Awards, honoring community leaders, local businesses, and principals who make a lasting impact on students’ lives.
